Mr. Caldwell is wrong, and Trump is closer to the truth than the article. We "belong" to no one. Our oath is to the Constitution alone. Under the Constitution, the President as Commander in Chief is the supreme military commander. There is no article of the constitution which assigns the military to "the people."
