First, I set off metal detectors almost every time I travel whether it be my belt, dog tags, or whatever. They take out the wand, look for the beep, ask what I have there, I tell them and then I'm on my way. I've never been patted down. I've never seen anyone patted down either.

Second, what's so invasive about a pat down? Seriously. As an MP I received extensive training in pat down procedures. Unless you're getting strip searched in a prison, there's nothing invasive going on. I'll bet a lot of the same people complaining about this were supporting the wearing of vagina hats and the dildo waving "co*ks not Glocks" dummies.

I have been patted down 2 or 3 times in my travels. The first time was a week or so after 9/11 when the copper studs on my Levis set off the metal detector! Since I have nothing to hide, I see not problem with pat downs. The ones complaining would probably fight with police about a pat down too!

I too set off alarms all the time, usually my with my watch or belt, but until I got squared away with my TSA Pre-check, I would get patted down about half the time. Now, about half of those times the pat down itself was what I would consider invasive, not that it really mattered one way or the other because I just wanted to get through and get to the bar for some pre-flight cocktails, but I can see where certain people would be offended/bothered. I would say that as an MP you received extensive training, but as far as the TSA clowns, I really don't think they do, and if they do then they don't pay attention or forget their training in a hurry.

1.) TSA has not stopped ANY terrorists from boarding a plane. In contrast, the Garland TX P.D. has stopped (killed) 2 more terrorists than the TSA.

2.) They say they will still use same sex personnel to do the pat-downs. Well what about the LGBTUVWXYZ crowd? Who will pat THEM down? What about the snowflakes who feel like a different gender on a particular day?

3.) The TSA still has the highest incidence of criminal convictions of any quasi-law enforcement (they're not really) agency.

4.) Yes, this is all security theater, as the "high risk" demographic (military-aged muslims) will not be searched for fear of "profiling" or other Political Correctness charges. Meanwhile, granny in her wheelchair, and the toddler will be groped unapolagetically.
