COL Mikel J. Burroughs, Sir, and SSgt Alia Schenck, post active service, during my VA assessment, I was only assessed for PTSD, but not Skin Cancer, as was diagnosed by the Doctor nor was I assessed for sickness associated with working in Kunia Tunnel, under the Pineapple Fields in Hawaii.

VA claimed that my skin disorder is fungus, which, without physical review, the assessors suggested is genetic; however, no one in my family, near or distant, has any such hereditary fungal infection. I was denied ability to tame this skin cancer with benefits as a Veteran. Other Veterans who served in Kunia Tunnel in Hawaii are receiving assistance to cope with the ailment and VA, not only gives them compassion and compensation, it also provides them with prescription refills through the VA. I have been denied medical treatment for most of my medical ailments that are service-related. The VA suggests that if I appeal, my present Compensation will be stopped too. I live in fear and suffer from sleep apnea now as well. How should I solve my problems; what should be my approach?
