Walls are an effective tool in a layered approach to stop the flow of people in or out of an area. The wall in Turkey, like our wall on the southern border, is to stem/stop the flow of illegal immigration. Lots of countries, cities and communities have them, for a reason. They are effective. They are not the only tool you need but they do work. A 900 km fence/wall with 2 feet of concertina wire on top will discourage many from trying. Patrols, cameras, drones, and other tools can be used to support the wall.

Sue Mexico for the illegal alien invasion that cost American lives, government programs and loss of culture. 20 million illegal aliens is an invasion and an end run around the Costitution of protecting American citizens.
It's warfare by gloablists who desire open borders and Socialism. They buy enough politicians to keep anything from getting done except a North American Union. Kick backs in the form of campaign funds.
This is why, IMO, POTUS is hated so much by the MSM which are doing the bidding of their Masters who owned the Media. Stop Trump from winning the next election is now the mission. A wall might just get him two terms.
Who gives the money to the left leaning groups putting the caravans together? You know those Commies don't work.
Great post LTC.

I'm aware of that. Of course, that is after they break the law an get on the government sugar nipple, or go to a Hospital and get their Tuberculosis reviewed by an RN who is now exposed. Multiply that by 10s of thousands, name your disease, and you have increased government. An attack on culture for sure.
Since your an expert on the Constitution, did you notice POTUS takes an oath to protect American citizens?

Cpl Mark A. Morris - it’s funny you mention expertise, because actually yes, I am. I could rattle off my education, or where I’ve taught, but as I suspect you wouldn’t care, all I can do is continue to demonstrate my knowledge by providing you with the correct information.

You are obviously not an expert on the Constitution or with the oath that the President takes. Article II of the Constitution clearly states, “Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:-"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

He takes an oath to defend the Constitution. That said, I don’t like illegal immigration any more than you do. However, a wall that will waste billions, never get completed, and most importantly, not stop illegal immigration isn’t protecting Americans or the Constitution.

Now here’s a better idea. You want to really put a dent in illegal immigration? Punish businesses that employ illegal immigrants. Restaurants and Contractors (for starters) will be subjected to random, physical audits of their payroll and workplaces to help ensure compliance. First offense, $5 million per illegal. Second offense, $10 million. Third offense, business closure.

Illegals come here mainly for better economic opportunity. If there’s no demand for their services, the supply would dry up rather quickly. But no one wants to talk about the American criminals...yes criminals... that employ illegal immigrants. Because that would be an actual attack on our culture. The hard truth is that illegals are willing to work and do jobs that the majority of Americans aren’t. Most Americans aren’t going to work a non-union job for minimum wage (or lower) from sun up til sun down (or longer). Until that changes, we can build walls, moats, minefields or anything else, and it won’t work.

SGT (Join to see) - I never said they were not willing to work on jobs no one wants. I keep pointing out to you the poor are pawns in a larger agenda.
American criminals vs illegal alien criminals? What kind of argument is that? Apples vs oranges? It holds no water. We have American crime, so it is OK to have illegal alien crime? Let's increase the crime?

Cpl Mark A. Morris - “American criminals vs illegal alien criminals? What kind of argument is that? Apples vs oranges? It holds no water. We have American crime, so it is OK to have illegal alien crime”. If that’s how you interpreted my response, I’d suggest you reread my response. Because I made absolutely none of those arguments, directly, implied or otherwise.

As you apparently missed the point, allow me to summarize. In my last response, the point was that as opposed to a wall, a more effective way to combat illegal immigration would be to prosecute the criminals in the US that enable it. (known as ‘lowering crime’). As the financial demand for illegal immigrants dropped, so would the supply of illegal immigrants. (Also known as ‘lowering crime’). When I stated that no one wants to discuss that as an option, “Because that would be an actual attack on our culture”, the point was that too many Americans profit from illegal immigration to actually want to see it stop.

Like the poor, the uneducated are pawns in a larger agenda. But, tell me more about the
Presidential oath.

LTC (Join to see) - In 2008 we gave away nearly $15 million to Turkey in Foreign Military Financing. In 2009, we cut it to nothing, which can be seen in the following link - https://2009-2017.state.gov/t/pm/ppa/sat/c14560.htm. We uncovered so many various items we (the US) were paying for (like the entire electric bill for a Turkish Air Force Base over 20+ years, new Mercedes vehicles for Turkish O6's, while our 06's rode in junk, etc.). We did what we could to stop DC from giving US taxpayer funds to them, and we were successful; unfortunately, it was more difficult (much more difficult) to recommend a grant of ZERO than it would have been to just rubber stamp the previous year's grant of $15 million. One of the few cases in our history where a rice bowl didn't just slowly decrease over decades - it disappeared completely. Glad I was a part of it.
