I suppose that the Kurds do appear as terrorists to the Turks. I hope and pray that we allow them to fight it out (however, I'd be happy if we gave the Kurds a hand with whatever supplies they need)

Erdogan is a tyrant and he views all Kurds as PKK terrorists. I agree we should give the Kurds a hand with supplies, and we should slow down the FMS contract deliveries to the Turkish AF.

It's complicated. No easy answers. I have hoped for a while now the Kurds could somehow carve out a place to call home.

This country, USA, has done war Planning scenarios since the late 50's with working with the Kurds with the End results to provide a Free Kurdish State... This goes Back to the genocide of the Armenian by turkey in the early 1900's (1914-1924)
I know in O&I school we did a Scenario using Kurds from Iran , Iraq , Syria and Turkey and 30 years earlier My Father Had done the same Planning when He was in Warrant officer Advanced Course... The Kurds are a Group of People who have been Oppressed since the Ottoman Empire Days... and Have been a valued US friend since WW II
interesting how the History of the Kurds and Kurdistan go's Back to 66 BC
