We had games that we played only in the car. Kids marked off on maps, helped figure disance and time. And we talked.

I see you used the past tense. That’s the way it was with my kids, now the only conversation is with the wife. When my grandsons drag me out on vacation, their noses are buried in a phone.

MCPO Roger Collins just because they are grown. We still talk but they don't usually travel with us. When grands are with us, there is limited phone time
