Many a fall hike I have taken in the Pacific Northwest in the mountains. Cold clean air, lot's of quiet and gorgeous fall colors.

Oh yeah.., lived in Seattle for 10 years... Mt Si... the Olys... North Cascades... Mt Rainier (pronounced RAIN-EE-ER), Adams, whats left of St Helens..

Living in Florida, we don't get to see the Fall change. I remember Ohio was just magnificent in October.
