The visual was worth clicking to see. Amazing and a good way to show the data. Despite all of our flaws we must be doing something right because so many have chosen to come here. Much of it may have been out of survival but a lot was for a chance to improve their lives and those of their future generations. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting information. It seems like folks have been coming to the US for years.

I always thought of the U.S. as a "new" country compared to "old" countries like England. But I realized that the US democracy hasn't changed at all since our beginning, unlike other countries that are much older than us. Russia is a good example. Many "old" countries are not even in existence anymore. My great-grandfather came to the U.S. in 1912 from a country called The Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes.

Despite the complaints about the U.S. from home and abroad, it is still apparently a very good place to live and has been for hundreds of years.

The visualization begs to question why we seem to be so hated in so many places around the world when our population consists of so many different peoples from so many different places.
