The authoritive report from the government is found at BLS.gov. What does the late U-6 listing reflect in the unemployed/under employed show. Is has been fairly consistently shown what translated to the lower 90 million. Further, it must be noted if a single part time worker has to work two jobs to survive, it's counted as two job. All that Trump has done so far is provide confidence and that effects the markets, jobs come when investments and personal money is spent on growth. That will take time.

I think of it as the more we spend, the more jobs there are. I feel most have been spending a lot as of lately.

I agree, interesting article. In my opinion we could be witnessing a new- new where almost 100,000 working aged Americans are not participating in the workforce but are receiving some sort of government aid. In the article we see two interesting points: "The number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits fell to near a 44-year-low last week" and "Thursday's claims report also showed the number of people still receiving benefits after an initial week of aid increased 3,000 to 2.07 million in the week ended Feb. 18. (I'd also add in the Labor Force Participation Rate of 62.9%. That number has not increased since 2015. I would use that data point as an indicator if and when the economy is rebounding).
So individuals filing for benefits fell while the number of individuals receiving some sort of government aid increased.
There is also the issue of baby boomers retiring and a much bigger issue will be automation. I read an article yesterday where the restaurant chain Wandy's will replace workers with 100,000 automated teller machines. I think with the $15 Campaign, the economy will see further reduction in manpower requirements. Drone and AI Technology will begin to hit service industry employees as driverless trucks and delivery drones reduce manning needs.
