If this was a Democrat appointed judge, and he approved the request, the right would be screaming "partisanship."
Since this is a Republican appointed judge, the right is supporting his decision.

I wholeheartedly disagree. I think your comment is all partisanship, but not the judges.
I don't think who appointed a judge is relevant in every decision said judge makes. Recent decisions have proven that pretty well (I am specifically thinking of another Reagan judge in the NE who recently ruled in favor of a "progressive" gun control law)
