I was raised the same, I hunt for meat, not trophies. My Old Man made us eat what we killed. I have eaten some crow, robin and a few other critters I shot with a pellet gun as a kid. It taught me a lesson. At least the meat that is gotten from the Big Game hunts is used for local Villages and the money brought to them helps the local economy.

According to the article, the ban was overturned in the courts and they are going to plan B which still includes a lot of controls. Unfortunately tho, the poachers over in Africa don't care one way or the other what our rules are when it comes to protecting endangered species. They kill them all regardless.

The Courts and the Obama administration are responsible for this one, Trump will become partly responsible if he does not put properly regulations on this vileness in a reasonable time. Trophy hunting is a way for grown boys to pretend manhood .
