A friend who was a military psychiatrist was deployed to help the survivors deal with this. We spent a lot of time talking about that afterwards...

I served with a Beirut veteran in 1985 and 1986. He had some great stories and some really bad nightmares. I haven't seen him since he rotated out. I hope he's doing well.
