A Graduate So Happy, He Hugged the Speaker
Gabriel Whitney says he did not plan to nearly suffocate President Bush in a bear hug. In fact, he did not plan to hug him at all.

My next younger brother went there, I commissioned him while I'd been USAF. I'd looked at going to SUNY Maritime College, when I'd been undergrad, my wife and in have a friend who did, I had a chance to teach there on a one year temp contract, sevl yrs later. I quite frequently kick myself for not having done it, I can assure all of you, just as I do for not having attended undergrad. Some really funny things happened the day he finished. One woman went NOAA Corps, when she finished, which I'd thought interesting. One guy did quite literally a cartwheel on stage celebrating right in front of a Secy of Transportation who was giving out the diplomas and doing the commencement speech. There's a funny photo I'll try to send in I'd seen of one midshipman who needed about sixmormseven years to finish, he was so ecstatic, he gave Pres. bush the younger a gynormous bear hug on stage, I'd seen, to the amused started amazement of the President, it was a great photo, I'll find it. When my brother's group finished and did the hat toss, they all took off their Navy whites, the female midshipmen had something on underneath obviously, and all jumped in the pool, which was obv pretty hysterical, of course, just thought you'd all get a kick out of that, many thanks.
