UCLA team returns from China without arrested players

Apparently the Chinese have video of the UCLA players shoplifting. I haven't heard the term "Ugly American" raise its head lately ... but it seems to apply here. I wouldn't condone it if they'd shoplifted in the U.S. ... I sure as hell won't condone it just because it happened in China. Really stupid IMV ... and a major embarrassment to UCLA and the U.S..

For me, what really adds to the intrigue is the fact that one of the parents (perhaps more than one) thought it was no big deal. I'm guessing that parent thinks it's a little bit bigger of a deal now that his precious is still stuck in China.
