Commanders have discretion. Having or away is s bad idea. Are we going back to the early eighties where people get article XVs for shiny boots that aren't shiny "enough.?" Not a fan of article XVs. Perform or your fired..administratively remove the non-performers and shitbirds. Court martial serious law breakers (deserters, the chronically disrespectful, rapists, murderers, etc.)

I was up for LOR,my CO,was a captain,told me I was lucky that he was in a good mood that day. It was dropped,the fact thT we were short-handed helped some.
