Well...apparently, the UK also determined the cost of NOT exiting the EU was pretty high, as well, and made the decision to exit.

They can not afford to just leave, the disruption just in Ireland would be massive

Yup... WTO tariffs are higher, but worth it to be free of the EU (IMHO)
