Ukraine intensifies pressure in long-shot push for NATO membership

Ukraine is neighbors with countries that are in NATO, many countries that border Russia are in NATO. NATO has pretty much become meaningless. They lost their teeth long ago and became dependent on the US to come to their rescue. Their armed forces aren't even a stop gap for the Russians if they invaded... or so we thought. Ukraine has shown how to fight Russia in conventional war. I think if NATO were what it was supposed to be, any conflict with Russia would go nuclear. If the US got involved, there is no doubt that it would go nuclear. This war has shown just how weak the bear has become and even in our degraded state militarily, they would have no chance of winning.
So, my take is let Ukraine in... after this conflict is over.
