I get a few messages now and again on retirement for Guard/Reserve members. Here is a pretty decent explanation of points and how to decipher them. I have used this site a few times and they do a great job explaining and demonstrating these things.

Good information. For people still in the IRR rules got a lot stricter last spring. It is much hard to get retirement points in the IRR now. If any IRR members are near retirement contact me. I spent about 5 months trying to get correct information from HRC.

Thanks for the info, I believe after I retired and went IRR, I had over 1800 points plus for 24 yrs of service.
