I just stumbled across this, fascinating little tidbit of Amer mil history I'd never heard of before, I'd thought the only such instance was the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery....

I appreciate the thought, certainly, I only wanted to explain that the site was not of the lewis and Clark mission, I only meant that I'd known of Lewis and Clark, not, however, of the expedition I'd sent in the site about...I just figured I ought to mention that to be clear, I just wanted to avoid any confusion...I'm glad it was of interest, however, I only mentioned Lewis and Clark as a contrast, not because the two expeditions were in any way related, of course.

This was an interesting read Capt Daniel Goodman; I had never heard of this expedition before either.
