It's been a few years, but I used to teach a lot of CLS classes, I believe CLS is one of the best investments the Army ever came up with!!!

Memos requesting class numbers are no longer used. The unit ATTRS writer will use the soldiers UIC. A completion roster is only sent if units do not have an ATTRS administrator. DA PAM 350-59 is obsolete, and the supply list is as well. Current doctrine can be located on the CLS AKO web site. A new program that will replace CLS will be published by next year. If you have questions or concerns about current CLS doctrine, please contact The Department of Combat Medic Education, in the Center For Prehospital Medicine.
