Man, I was just there a couple of weeks ago.
Without the benefit of much detail in the story, from what we know the most likely scenario is that Fritz had a few too many bieren and got salty with other passengers. Then he gets into a scuffle with the Polizei and loses his ever-loving mind.
When he sobers up, he will find a bleak future to look forward to. The Germans don't screw around when you mess with the cops.
