Just for comparison, an M67 Grenade weighs 400 grams (14 oz, or slightly less then a pound). A female competitive shot put ball weighs 10 times as much at 4kg (8.8 lbs) and a male ball is nearly 20 times at 7.2 kg (16 lbs). A regulation base ball is about 5 oz (roughly 1/3 the grenade). A basketball is slightly heavier then the grenade at about 20 oz. (But you do get both hands to throw it..maybe we need to make the grenade bigger so we can use both hands). An NBA court is 28.7 meters long. So we are talking about throwing a ball, slightly lighter then a basketball, but with one hand, about 10 feet short of the length of a basketball court. A typical neighborhood street is about 13-15 meters wide...just for another perspective
