Here's a "Nifty Nugget" of Air & Space Safety and Security in recognition of 506th Air Expeditionary Group Command Post Controller Senior Airman Meghan Boyce, whose primary duties during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) included crisis management coordination, mission monitoring, flight following, emergency actions messaging, base-wide alerting and aircrew management.

China will not react to two B52s over SCS, because China is playing a very strategic game with the US using the talks between Kim and Trump in Singapore. If these talks are successful then, China stands to gain substantially. If the talks break down, China continues status quo and speeds up its OBOR and MSR plans with Russia. While the US seeks to forge a strategic alliance with India, Russia and China are engaged with India to cement their strategic military partnerships with India. The race is on already. SCS is secondary for China now; Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Myanmar are on its priority menu now. India is the thorn in China's plan and to overcome this enemy, China has engaged India in BRICS, naval port calls and joint military exercises to pressure India to become part of OBOR and MSR initiatives. North Korea is a deterrent to keep the US at bay for the time being. SCS and its oil will keep the US away from the Indian Ocean, believes China. This is how I read the situation from information gathered thru several think tanks focused on China and it's initiatives to become the global economic, development and financial center taking that glory away from the US; another chip at the old bloc, so to speak.
