In China armed and successful revolution is needed to force a change of course against the wishes of its leaders.
In the US the change of opinion by of a very small number of voters is all it takes to change who the leaders are. Since the pain in the US us concentrated in the parts of the US where that change can most make a difference that change get more likely with every day.
I have a feeling that this trade was will not last long past November this year.

True for China... & the revolution has been successful the last two times. Prior to Sun Yat Sen rebellion has had mixed results. But rarely has China been truly unified as it is at present.
