AND THE POINT IS...??? There are a minimum of forty times more adults in this country. Simple math. Jay Leno owns scores of cars. Cars kill more Americans every year once a human gets behind the wheel. The cars DON'T kill anyone parked in a garage or when driven by responsible people. Guns don't either when carried and used by responsible people.
So what is the point???

I have commented on this topic more than most folks care to hear, SCPO (Join to see), but I want to know how anyone knows how many firearms are in private hands. I own half of that number if you ask my wife! LOL
But seriously, I've never talked to a gun owner that has been surveyed (like I would answer anyway!) so it's a guess at best. And to your question, what's the point, exactly. The 2nd Amendment is part of the Bill of Rights, not Needs, so what is the point?
