Well the premise of the story is false. NONE of our stealth equipment was designed to be invisible to radar, it was designed to be harder to detect with radar with a greatly reduced radar signature. All our stealth military equipment produces a radar signature.....period, end of story. Author did not do his homework or research prior to writing about this. So it does not shock me in the least someone invented a more precise radar system that can track the planes. Big deal and it was never in the design of the planes to prevent that from happening. All that aside the VTOL advantages and high speeds of these aircraft make them very valuable just those features by themselves. As they do not need costly runway infrastructure, aircraft carriers and can easily be dispersed prior to an attack.

Silly article. Not a loophole, not new and not unique to F-35s.
