I am not surprised to hear that Iran is attempting to wiggle its way out of the current nuclear deal. Can there be any doubt of their nuclear ambitions? Not in my mind. How long could "the worst deal ever" keep them from moving forward on the nuclear front? I believe the better question is wether the current agreement actually slowed their nuclear program at all? I believe that we can never actually trust this regime to be truthful or honest in its political dealings with us.
Conversely, have we given them any reason to trust us? Just a thought. If you don't consider the situation from Irans position you are failing to properly assess the situation. Iran does not act in a trustworthy fashion. Trust on either side is at a minimum in my opinion. And I do not see the situation improving in the foreseeable future.
