Seems like they have something else in common: the courts acknowledged that Happy Birthday belongs to the public, and ruled that the one single inventor of E-Mail is in doubt. He may have a claim when it comes to the term E-Mail being that his copyrighted material was called EMAIL, but other than that he has had his fifteen minutes. Time to go back to the real world for him.
