Let's not play politics with this issue. That's for the Left and their shills in the media (as well as a few well-placed judges). Let's not wander off into the weeds and talk about other Executive Orders and other cases. That's the propaganda strategy of the Democrats. Let's just stick to the facts of this one case and ask a simple question: How can people who refused the Mexican offer of refuge (food, clothing, housing, healthcare, education, and jobs) be considered refugees seeking asylum?

Capt Gregory Prickett easy for you to say and easy for me to decide that they aren't really refugees. Transported in luxury tour buses it is reasonable to assume that they are being imported to create a political conflict to embarrass the President. If we were allowed to vote, it would be easy for me to vote to deny them entrance. Accepting them, especially under the circumstances, is foolish but that wouldn't stop you, would it?

2200 miles of razor wire coming up, complete with danger warnings. This is why the Senate needs to push through Judicial appointments, activists making laws.

Obama Has Lost in the Supreme Court More Than Any Modern President
The government's arguments across this wide variety of cases would essentially allow the executive branch to do whatever it wants without meaningful constitutional restraint.

Capt Gregory Prickett I see the Federal Judiciary making laws or over reaching for political reasons. As for presidents creating laws, it’s been done for ages.

Executive Orders 101: What are they and how do Presidents use them? - National Constitution...
One of the first “orders” of business for President Donald Trump was signing an executive order to weaken Obamacare, while Republicans figure out how to replace it. So what powers do executive orders have?
