US military budget cuts stretching 'Screaming Eagles' to the limit

I remember his own Generals and Secretary Gates warning him repeatedly he was not investing enough in the DoD but he knew better.........he was going to show those Republicans that he wouldn't give in when it came to entitlement programs and he was perfectly willing to sacrifice the National Security of the United States to show the Republicans that entitlement programs were more important than National Defense priorities. Good riddance to that Obama-nation.

Aviation across the board is hurting. The Guard isn't in much better shape. If it's not a shortage of mechanics, it's having difficulty procuring parts. Some places are having to send their aircraft offsite for phase maintenance because they don't have enough full-time mechanics and they're not being allowed to hire any more because the state is overstaffed in other areas.
