This would be fun to watch. 3 carriers adds another layer of complexity to the C2. One of the comments on Fox News, "...that's an awful lot of ships in one place..." made me laugh. I guess if you call the Pacific Ocean one place, and you have no clue about it's size, then you might be worried.

I did a 2 carrier exercise and it was HECTIC! Couldn't imagine adding a 3rd...

That means it's good training - stress in training make stress in combat easier to manage

A show of force is as old as military forces. IMHO, I do not like giving the enemy any form of advanced intelligence; but that's just me. Hello RP.

But at the same time, they need to train with their equipment otherwise if war comes they won't be able to use it well.
