US sailor dies after small-boat operation mishap in the Red Sea

Military training is a naturally dangerous business. Never had the occasion to serve in combat, but saw loss of life due to training, human errors and plain old dumb mistake on several instances during my career on submarines. Pain for crew and families. RIP sailor.
