AIT soldiers at Fort Huachuca are forbidden by a General Oder from crossing the nearby border for many good reasons. Me and my family have not crossed in 20 years. We used to cross over regularly fir shopping and entertainment purposes. No more. Simply too dangerous.

We are going on a Holland America Cruise next week that will stop at Cozumel (the island just of the coast). We are not going to the mainland and will just walk around the shops in sight if the ship. My wife wanted to take a bus tour of Cozumel and I said NO.
