USA ARRESTED the scientist who sent COVID 19 to CHINA?

A Trump supporting friend who loves conspiracy theories sent this video to me on FB as proof that China created the COVID-19 virus and unleashed it on society. Unfortunately it’s another classic example of taking a little bit of information and filling in conspiracy.
The facts are: 1) American professor lied about foreign connections and receiving foreign mobey from Chinese Nationals, 2) a Chinese National and student at Harvard suspected of espionage, 3) a different Chinese National and student doing cancer research caught sending biological samples to China, and 4) none of the cases are connected.
If the conspiracy was true then we would be saying an American helped Chinese spies smuggling viral samples and aided the creation of COVID-19 in a laboratory. Hahaha! I don’t think any of us want that to be true.

I would say some but definitely not "every". "Pizza-gate" had zero kernel of truth that could sound plausible.

The deplorables will take this as proof of Covid -19 being a weapon and a significant number will blame Obama for helping create the weapon, Reality is not their strong suit.

Why I told my friend to accept this theory as fact means accepting the plausibility that an American is complicit in developing a new strain of coronavirus and aided China in developing a bio-weapon. She immediately responded: no. that isn't at all what I'm saying.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr Well before Trump many of my Conservative Catholic friends were umm reasonable. Haha! Plus she looked damn good in the old fashioned nurse uniform (pre-scrubs) when she was a nursing student. Hahaha!
