It probably will ruin his career, if he initiated any of it. We had a recruiter a few years back who started an inappropriate relationship with a young recruit. He definitely lost his job and got kicked out of the guard, and I'm pretty sure he did some jail time.

Unfortunately this isn't an uncommon occurrence. When I first joined back in 1998 my recruiter also put in a handful of my female classmates. Fast forward a few years and I ran into another recruiter from that station who was now a Guard recruiter. He told me the guy ended up getting fired for having relations with a couple of them plus others.
