Yea, I really need to do an appeal but just can’t find the time to get the stuff together.

COL (Join to see) - I get that, but remember file the paperwork to protect your effective date. In case you win you want the earliest possible effective date and you don't want to miss any deadlines.

I am 39 years old, Female. I was Honorable Discharged in April of 2000. I was diagnosed with lower back pain strain, with right hip pain and stress reaction femoral neck pain. I was seen by a rheumatologist and they diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. however, I was never notified of it so I could submit it to the claims board. Then. I was diagnosed with Relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS) and the VA did away with the fibromyalgia finding because it is similar to MS. I feel like the VA is treating me unfairly. People tell me I should be more than 10% because I am totally disabled and unable to work. I need to get one of the shirts that says "I'm not drunk, I have M.S.", F.Y.I. I don't do drugs or drink.
I am just struggling being a single mother, and living on a 1600 a month budget. I did have 2000 a month but I sat down and figured it out. I'm at a stand still and dont know how to move forward.

You may want to get a service officer to help you with your claim. They can look through your file and see if they can file anything for you. I know someone who was recently diagnosed by VA with MS. He was in the service a long time ago, they found that though he had not been diagnosed with MS, that he did have episodes that could be attributed to it. He was able to get 100%, he is in very bad shape and that is why it's 100%. However, he was able to prove it started in service from his military medical records. A service officer helped him. Some folks hate service officers I've had both good and bad, but I think it's worth a shot.
