VA has to figure out how to reach people that are left behind by the existing system. This group is one of those. But it takes more than toolkits. You have to make personal contact with these former service members.

As I needed so much ... 1998 still devastating... suicide only passed his pain! Surviving widowed Spouse ... no support was offered....raising 2 sons ... a lot of uncertainty & walked in Faith & I still put one foot in front of the other, everyday day! The devastating effects never end! Never....only true peace comes from the cross. Please pray & guide me through all the curves, detours, heartbreak & darkness as I continue my Earthly journey...His side of the family will never stop blaming & manipulative acts are horrible... my son is now their victim ...
The chain has not been broke!!!! My heart hurts...His life & the memories I hold will never RIP. All begins with a choice!...I truly believe that, but the assistance & trying to rescue the mental challenge...
I saw, wasn’t recognized as real. Hugs to all who have or still walking out of the the darkness to the road of light!!!

The person walking towards suicide almost never considers what will happen to those left behind. It is a powerful thing to share.
