VA's record-high 2020 spending request illustrates future, broader budget battles

Right now it is to hell with balancing the budget.

This would seem to be a good thing, until you read the VAOIG Reports on waste and corruption that have not been acted on. I don’t expect the full report to be read, but review all recommendations at the end. Pouring more water in a leaking bucket doesn’t make sense.
