I actually have experience with DeVry. That is the school that I went to after I got out of the Army. They are always at military and veterans events, and that's actually where I met the military recruiter, was at a VA event in Northern California. They claim to be one of the first institutions to be able to accept the original Montgomery GI Bill, and also claim to be very veteran friendly. Which is actually not true. DeVry does nothing more for their veterans than any other student, and actually goes at times to make things more difficult for them. The are the epitome of a for-profit school, they know that with the GI Bill, they are going to get their money, so they milk all they can out of the students. I don't know a single veteran that has gotten a job after attending DeVry, where DeVry assisted them. I agree with Capt. Mueller, it's about time that the VA does something to these schools, and needs to actually do more than just give them a time out, like they did with University of Phoenix.

I received my BS from Devry, I worked very hard and for the degree and thought the classes were extremely challenging. While attending, I also took transferable classes from UMBC, both were equally challenging.
So as far as a diploma mill I would say no. But as far as the help I received from them for employment, they called me once after graduation and that was the last I heard from them. My jobs were found on my own.
