Valley Fever Is Spreading Through a Hotter, Drier Western US

1892 was the first year a case went on record. Why do I mention this? A few reasons. We are in the hundreds of thousands of cases per year now. There is very little in the way of research into any sort of vaccine or cure. My wife nearly died from it 12 years ago. And as we were told by the CDC doc who ended up treating her, masks are useless unless you have a full respirator on. These are fungal spores and normal masks don't do enough to block inhaling these spores.

We were at a large camping event SE of Phoenix when we got clobbered by a haboob. We are 90% certain this is when we got Valley Fever. For me, it was a mild fever for 2 days then done. My wife was not so lucky. She was to stage 3 of the 4 stage progression. She had Pleurisy so bad she was curled up in pain most of the day. Stage 4 included things like Meningitis — an infection of the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord and usually is a death sentence.

This is partly why we look at Covid, a Corona Virus like the common cold, and do not have hysteria over it. More research, more anger, more lies, more politics have been pumped into Covid that all it promotes is hysteria.
