This sounds like the democrat party plan here for criminal reforms here in the U.S. Make bullets unaffordable by tanking the entire economy with socialist policies. There. crime is reduced because the average person has nothing to steal and the average criminal (not the ones in the government) cannot afford weapons or ammo. True equality in the socialist's eyes.
