Good for you...service dogs and comfort dogs are extremely important to us disabled (Ptsd) veterans and should be treated accordingly....shame on that Airline....

This is an ongoing issue not just for Vets. To many RIK ninja Lawyers at businesses in America think they know what the "law" is and can deny service. There should be a stiffer penalty for denying someone services for things like this.

Manhattan, KS is just outside of Ft. Riley. The airport there is quite small for such a large post. . . One would think that airline and airport employees outside of any military installation would be better trained and more aware of the actual laws governing the services they provide, especially as they apply to service members and veterans. Apparently not.

It is such as shame, Us Veterans still get treated like shit by our own country. It is not everyone, but, by now, you would think all of that bad karma was history. Apparently, it is not.
