Veteran Starts New Facebook Group

Carl Holgate is not happy with his local VA, the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He states, "I've been to nine VA's across the country in the forty-five years I've been in the VA system. This is the first time I am dissatisfied with the care I have received."

According to Holgate, a recovering alcoholic, "The support of others who share and understand your pain are crucial to recovery". Holgate launched a New Group on Facebook, 'Veterans And The VA' https://www.facebook.com/groups/vets.va/ on January 31st of this year. "The goal of the group is to provide information and support to fellow Veterans regarding the Veterans Administration", said Holgate. He went on to add, "The response has been encouraging so far".
