LTC Jay Hicks - Let me know if I can help. I am a PMP and work as a gov cont. In many cases PMP can be substituted for a PE on gov contracts. While personally I think the training is more applicable to the IT industry the certification is recognized world wide. Almost anyone in the military can claim project management experience therefore, PMI is the perfect organization for them to align with.
