I didn't know that Gene Wilder was a Vet. Rest in Peace. I know I have fond memories of his films.

He served Honorably from '56-58' and was Drafted... worked in a Mental Facility in a Hospital In NY...

I also hadn't known that Gene Wilder was a vet. He and others are unsung heroes who did their job and served their country honorably and never bragged about it. I loved his movies. Young Frankenstein and Silver Shreak come to mind. It was sad when his wife, Gilda Radner died so young. Rest in peace and God bless Gene and Gilda.
