Veterans Affairs $4 Billion Computer Mess

This is EXACTLY why we need a single payer government managed health care system...IT IS OK NOW, I TURNED OF MY SARCASM SYSTEM!

That is just plain painful to read!!!

I personally have had to deal with the stupidity of their system. If you file a claim electronically and they request paperwork for proof, they allow you to submit time peperwork electronically as well. Easy enough. Nope, when you submit the paperwork a human has to verify the scanned paperwork then move it from one computer system to another before it can be reviewed.
