It's (9:25)a.m. - New York time, I have an hour, any Veteran out there have a point of view on important issues related to the recent mass-murder of party goers in Florida. For me 3 points come up. First I love all people as most of you do. Very angry about the innocent people killed off. Also I love the state of Florida, I graduated from 'Boca Raton Community High School' back in the day. Great place Florida is, many seniors there. They don't need this stress. (2) - Is this more about hate related to American policy in the middle-east, or about weapons ???. Our freedom to do as we please and freedom to purchase and own weapons as we Americans see fit. All being called into question over this tragedy. And what do we get, a smoke screen by politicians & federal officials. We have civil rights & protections provided to American Society long ago. Placed there by the founding fathers. Why do our elected officials feel they need to call all of that into question. * Please feel free to correct me or comment, thanks.

Any time something happens the knee jerk reaction (by the left) is to take away gun rights. If we could successfully screen everyone and not sell firearms to someone who was being investigated by the fbi(or otherwise unfit) in the first place we would be better off. I think it's bs that the NRA gets attacked. The NRA is full of patriotic Americans who would never hurt someone, unless they were defending their home and fellow American. Disarming the citizens won't stop the people who commit these acts. Yes there needs to be a better screening process, and mandatory training for anyone wishing to own a firearm. I think carrying is a huge responsibility not to be taken lightly. But it is a right as an American to be able to protect yourself against the evil doers of this world.
