Riddle me this - who made the call to hand over Bagram Air Base - if they knew this was going to this way - before all US and allies where out. HKIA has one air field Bagram has two and was way better fortified. Just thinking out loud - what happens when ISIS-K gets behind the wire at HKIA? Seems like it would have been a brilliant idea to keep at least two air fields operational while working the evacuation.

It has been painful to watch our current administration's actions and the impacts on our citizens and those who depend on us. I don't understand our lack of action in securing around the airport or re-establishing Bagram, it is the closest major AFB.
