That is very sad news Sgt Joe LaBranche I am glad I have not ever had to wait for critical care just for routine appointments. I hope the situation improves for all veterans at all VA Medical Center systems; but, I know that takes time.
Many people in the VA are good kind-heated souls. the more contact people in government have with the clientele the better grounded they are in reality.
The bureaucrats higher of the chain are the biggest stumbling block to improvement in the VA evaluation system and to a lesser degree in the treatment system.

It is a sad state of affairs in dealing with today's VA, LTC Stephen Ford! I don't see a fix anytime soon. In dealing with veterans and the VA on a daily basis the frustration level is extremely high. Veterans must treat their benefits claim as a job and stay on top of their claim.

If you want free or even cheap health care, that is exactly what of are going to get. After 17 years of service, I'm thankful to God I don't need the VA or anything.
