I had been thinking about it for my fruit trees, bushes, etc. But the fact that we have bears in neighborhood and at times in the yard ....

Good stuff! A co-worker in the tony (and as it is affectionately known by some) “People’s Republic of Palo Alto” got buy in from his neighbors to do some *urban* beekeeping. Another friend (and Vet) has gone into full bee keeping mode, is bottling his own and we enjoy getting a jar every now and then.
